Mr. Griscti represents administrators, faculty and students at public and private universities and colleges statewide. The State University System generally, and each of its individual universities and colleges, have and enforce extensive disciplinary, academic and other regulations that can affect administrative and academic position, student status, reputation, and career. Increasingly, private academic institutions have similar rules.
Mr. Griscti has had experience in such matters at the University of Florida in Gainesville, as well as at other State Universities and Colleges and private collegiate institutions throughout the State.
These collegiate-level issues are considered administrative in nature. Some administrative regulations must be properly preserved (“exhausted”) before federal or state judicial jurisdiction and proceedings can be initiated for injunctive relief, damages or other relief – otherwise those judicial remedies may be waived. Each requires timely and comprehensive review, consultation, and representation.
